Magic Flute "Do you want to touch my Monkey?" -Dieter from Sprockets

Yesterday was another big day.  I must admit that I am getting sore from all the walking but it is completely worth every experience.  We went to see Mozart's Magic Flute.  It was a wonderful and strange performance.  I will let the students talk about it.  During the day we went to the Berlin Wall and the ruins of the Nazi SS Headquarters.  They had a fantastic museum there called The Topography of Terror.  We spent a couple hours in there.  It was sobering and fascinating!  We then had lunch from a street vendor.  I discovered the wonderfulness of the Doner Kebap!  It is a yummy Turkish sandwich with meat, veggies and various sauces.  Look it up!!!!  We should have this in Washington!  Then we went to Check Point Charlie.  Very touristy but there was a great Cold War Museum.  It had a lot about escaping the Wall but also a good deal on Human Rights and nonviolent demonstration.  Amazing Day!

Here are some various photos of the day!
