Berlin Day 1

So far Berlin has been different than Leipzig in almost every way; the area is bigger, more hostel and less hotel, and we are toward the outside of the city instead of right in the middle. This morning when we left our rooms in Leipzig we left our luggage in the lobby and went wandering/shopping. The group met at the hostel again at noon to head for the train station and to make our way to Berlin. We took quite a few different trains to get to our hostel, but once we got here we all went to our rooms and just relaxed for a bit. The Leipzig Say Cheese hostel/hotel was so nice, and we were so spoiled by that, that Hostel Pfefferbett is not what we were expecting. It is above a brewery- which is pretty cool- and we have really tall bunk beds with nice down comforters. The ceiling is like a brick archway. The only problem for us girls is that our bathroom and showers are down the hall from our room. Other than that the atmosphere is really nice and the hostel itself is full of character. Tomorrow we have scheduled a tour of Berlin and a concert! This should be exciting! Until tomorrow.
